How credits work

Credits are how usage is measured in CreaMate. The rules fit on a napkin:

• Every generation costs a flat 20 credits — hooks, scripts, hashtags, covers, analysis, compliance checks. No surprise pricing per tool.
• Your balance is always visible in the header next to your avatar.
• When a tool would cost more than you have, it tells you before running, not after.

Where credits come from

Plans. Paid plans come with a monthly credit allowance. The amount per tier is listed on the pricing page next to each plan.

One-time packs. If you don't want a subscription, you can buy a credit pack ($20, $40, or $100) and use it at your own pace.

The daily claim. Once a day, you can claim a small batch of free credits from Settings → Credits. It resets at midnight UTC. It exists so you can keep a light posting habit going without paying — and so you can test the workspace properly before deciding whether it's worth money.

When you run out

The tool you tried to run shows your balance, what the generation needed, and two ways forward: claim today's free credits if you haven't, or top up. Your inputs aren't lost; run it again after topping up.

Things people ask

Do credits roll over? Monthly plan credits reset with your billing cycle. One-time pack credits don't expire with a cycle — check the pack's validity window on the pricing page.

Do failed generations cost credits? No. You're charged when a generation completes.

Can I see my history? Yes — Settings → Credits lists every grant and spend with timestamps.

Is the chat metered too? Chat with Mate and the free tools don't touch your balance. Credits are for the workspace generation tools.
